Cosmetic Defects

  • Surface Blemishes: Minor pitting, scratches, or indentations that occur during manufacturing or shipping and do not compromise structural integrity are not considered defects.

This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the product under warranty.

Proper Maintenance Requirements

Failure to perform routine maintenance may void the warranty. The following maintenance guidelines must be followed:

  • Cleaning & Rinsing: After each use, rinse the kayak, pedal drive, and metal hardware with fresh water, especially after saltwater exposure, to prevent corrosion.

  • Pedal Drive & Fin Drive Maintenance: Regularly inspect and lubricate moving parts to prevent premature wear.

  • Storage Guidelines: Store the kayak on a rack, hoist, or flat surface with proper support to prevent hull deformation. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and excessive heat.

  • Seal Inspection: Check all hatches, scupper plugs, and sealed areas for leaks or loose fittings before use.
